Library@EPA is pleased to announce the addition of a new database, GreenFILE, from EBSCOhost.
"GreenFILE offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for approximately 295,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,600 records."

Integrated Botanical Information System

OECD/EEA Economic Instruments Database
Looking for information on instruments used for environmental policy and natural resource management?
This database, developed by the OECD and European Environment Agency, provides information on "environmentally related taxes, fees and charges, tradable permit systems, deposit refund systems, environmentally motivated subsidies and voluntary approaches used in environmental policy in OECD Member countries, EEA member countries and countries otherwise co-operating with EEA, not being members of OECD."
To search, select an environmental domain, issue or theme (water pollution, air pollution, climate change, etc.). Next, select one or more countries by placing a "tick" next to the relevant flags which appear. Then, click on "Submit" to obtain the information available.
