OECD/EEA Economic Instruments Database

Looking for information on instruments used for environmental policy and natural resource management?

This database, developed by the OECD and European Environment Agency, provides information on "environmentally related taxes, fees and charges, tradable permit systems, deposit refund systems, environmentally motivated subsidies and voluntary approaches used in environmental policy in OECD Member countries, EEA member countries and countries otherwise co-operating with EEA, not being members of OECD."

To search, select an environmental domain, issue or theme (water pollution, air pollution, climate change, etc.). Next, select one or more countries by placing a "tick" next to the relevant flags which appear. Then, click on "Submit" to obtain the information available.
